South Kerrier Official Food Festival

Welcome to the SKOFF website.

The South Kerrier Official Festival of Food is a celebration of local food with the main focus of the event being Education.  Giving local schools the opportunity to show the community what wonderful work is being done educating our children about good food whilst promoting the use of locally produced products.

The people behind the event are all committed to getting young people and the community excited about growing and cooking local and seasonal food, we are a group made up of teachers and community members with the support of organisations such as Transition Helston, Helston Farmers Market, South Kerrier Alliance, NHS Food Programme, Soil Association, Cornwall Food and Farming group and Rocket Gardens.

Our focus is to celebrate food education, and promote the use of locally produced products to make fresh nutritional meals for all the family. Including where our food has come from; learning about life on a farm and encouraging the young of South Kerrier growing their own fruit and vegetables.

If you are a producer please refer to the ‘booking details’ information.

If you would like to be involved in any other way we would love to hear from you. Please follow the link on the ‘Contact us’ page.

Thank you
